Cleaner Energy Makes Good Business Sense

The electric charges on your bill can be simplified into two categories:

  • Electric Generation Rates – MCE’s generation service will replace PG&E’s generation service on your bill. Generation rates vary depending on the service that you choose.
  • Electric Delivery Rates – PG&E delivery rates are the same for MCE and non-MCE customers.

Non-residential Time-of-Use

Time-of-Use (TOU) rates give you the power to save money on your bill while using cleaner energy. By shifting your electric usage away from peak periods, you can save money by consuming electricity during lower-priced periods, while also helping create a more balanced electric grid. Our Strategic Energy Management Program can help you find ways to save.
