Rising Sun bietet Ausbildungsprogramme f\u00fcr Jugendliche, Frauen und Personen, die am Wiedereinstieg ins Berufsleben interessiert sind. Die Programme vermitteln ihnen die notwendigen F\u00e4higkeiten, um eine erfolgreiche gr\u00fcne Karriere zu starten.<\/p>\n<p>Im Sommer 2021 machte Bry'Ana Wallace ihren Abschluss an der Rising Sun. Danach arbeitete sie zwei Wochen lang bei einem Solarunternehmen <a href=\"https:\/\/gridalternatives.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GRID-Alternativen<\/a> bevor sie eine Vollzeitstelle als Terrazzobodenlegerin annahm. Bry'Ana, die sich nun f\u00fcr eine Karriere im Aufzugsbau interessiert, nahm sich etwas Zeit, um uns von ihren Erfahrungen mit Rising Sun und den wertvollen Kontakten zu berichten, die sie durch das Programm gekn\u00fcpft hat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wie sind Sie auf das Ausbildungsprogramm von Rising Sun gekommen?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nachdem ich vor Jahren meine Gro\u00dfmutter verloren hatte, wurde ich obdachlos. Lange Zeit wusste ich nicht, wohin ich mich wenden oder wie ich meine Situation \u00e4ndern sollte. Letztes Jahr erz\u00e4hlte mir meine Cousine von Rising Sun und wie die Programme das Leben der Menschen ver\u00e4ndert hatten. Ich erwartete ein Baby und war so begeistert von der M\u00f6glichkeit, an einem Programm teilzunehmen, das meine Lebenssituation und die Zukunft meines Sohnes verbessern k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wie hat sich Ihr Leben ver\u00e4ndert, seit Sie bei Rising Sun sind?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rising Sun verband mich mit <a href=\"https:\/\/moms4housing.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moms4Housing<\/a>, einer Organisation, die obdachlosen M\u00fcttern hilft, wieder eine Wohnung zu finden. Dank dieser Verbindung wohne ich jetzt in einem eigenen Haus und mein Sohn und ich sind nicht mehr obdachlos. Nach meinem Abschluss an der Rising Sun habe ich einen Job als Terrazzobodenlegerin angenommen. Leider musste ich meine berufliche Laufbahn unterbrechen, weil aufgrund des j\u00fcngsten Anstiegs der COVID-F\u00e4lle keine Kinderbetreuung mehr zur Verf\u00fcgung stand. Jetzt, wo mein Sohn wieder in der Kinderbetreuung ist, arbeite ich daran, eine neue Karriere im Aufzugsbau zu starten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Was w\u00fcrden Sie jemandem sagen, der dieses Programm in Betracht zieht?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sie sollten sich unbedingt daf\u00fcr entscheiden! Ich habe durch das Programm so viele F\u00e4higkeiten gelernt, vom Bauwesen \u00fcber Mathematik bis hin zur Professionalit\u00e4t. Viele Ausbilder waren selbst im Handwerk t\u00e4tig und haben Verbindungen in die Branche und k\u00f6nnen ihre Erfahrungen weitergeben. Zus\u00e4tzlich zu den Kenntnissen und Erfahrungen bietet Rising Sun auch psychologische Beratung, Hilfe bei Drogenmissbrauch und allgemeine Betreuung. Die Ressourcen bei Rising Sun haben mir geholfen, als ich das Gef\u00fchl hatte, meinen Weg zu verlieren. Ich habe durch die Ausbildung tolle Kontakte gekn\u00fcpft.
