La transmisi\u00f3n transporta la energ\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de largas distancias en l\u00edneas el\u00e9ctricas de alta tensi\u00f3n.<\/p><p>La distribuci\u00f3n se produce cuando usted lleva la energ\u00eda a edificios o veh\u00edculos. Cuando enciendes los aparatos el\u00e9ctricos de tu casa, la energ\u00eda pasa de esas l\u00edneas de alta tensi\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de una subestaci\u00f3n local. En la subestaci\u00f3n, el voltaje se reduce mediante transformadores, lo que hace posible que la energ\u00eda sea utilizada de forma segura por una vivienda, empresa o veh\u00edculo el\u00e9ctrico. Esta energ\u00eda puede proceder de cualquier tipo de recurso de generaci\u00f3n.
