La capacidad de generaci\u00f3n suele oscilar entre 100 kilovatios y varios megavatios. Un cliente residencial medio consume unos 500 kilovatios-hora al mes, por lo que proyectos de varios megavatios pueden suministrar energ\u00eda a cientos de hogares. Aunque son menos comunes que los parques e\u00f3licos terrestres, pueden generar m\u00e1s energ\u00eda aprovechando los fuertes vientos sobre el agua. En los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os, los parques e\u00f3licos marinos se emplear\u00e1n m\u00e1s para suministrar energ\u00eda a las grandes comunidades costeras.<\/p><p>La energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica distribuida consiste en sistemas m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os que suministran energ\u00eda directamente a zonas cercanas, como propiedades residenciales, comerciales o industriales. Estos aerogeneradores suelen ser m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os que los utilizados en los parques e\u00f3licos a escala comercial.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ded17f9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ded17f9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\u00bfCu\u00e1nta electricidad generan los aerogeneradores?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0f4a7c6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0f4a7c6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La cantidad de energ\u00eda que genera una turbina e\u00f3lica depende de su tama\u00f1o y ubicaci\u00f3n. Las turbinas m\u00e1s altas y las palas m\u00e1s grandes capturan m\u00e1s viento, lo que hace que la turbina sea m\u00e1s eficiente. Una turbina e\u00f3lica t\u00edpica genera <a href=\"https:\/\/illumination.duke-energy.com\/articles\/all-about-wind-energy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">De 1 a 5 megavatios<\/a> de electricidad al a\u00f1o. La turbina e\u00f3lica media genera electricidad s\u00f3lo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wind-watch.org\/faq-output.php#:~:text=Wind%20turbines%20produce%20at%20or,around%2060%25%20of%20the%20time.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">40% del tiempo<\/a>porque la velocidad del viento debe alcanzar al menos 9 millas por hora antes de poder generar electricidad.
