La medici\u00f3n neta de la energ\u00eda (NEM) utiliza contadores de energ\u00eda especiales para registrar la diferencia entre la electricidad que genera el sistema solar de un cliente y la que consume. A estos clientes se les abona en su factura el exceso de electricidad que devuelven a la red. La cantidad de energ\u00eda que generan los paneles solares var\u00eda. Durante los meses de verano, cuando el sol brilla con fuerza, los paneles generan m\u00e1s energ\u00eda, lo que aumenta el saldo del cr\u00e9dito de generaci\u00f3n de los clientes solares. Combinar la energ\u00eda solar con el almacenamiento ayuda a reducir nuestra dependencia de los combustibles f\u00f3siles. Tambi\u00e9n crea una red energ\u00e9tica m\u00e1s equilibrada, en la que la oferta de energ\u00eda se ajusta m\u00e1s a la demanda en cada momento.<\/p><p>Adem\u00e1s de equilibrar la red el\u00e9ctrica, la energ\u00eda solar m\u00e1s almacenamiento favorece la resistencia energ\u00e9tica.
