Incendios forestales<\/strong><\/p>\n

El cambio clim\u00e1tico aumenta la duraci\u00f3n y la gravedad de la temporada de incendios forestales. Los centros de resiliencia ofrecen soluciones y recursos adaptados localmente para mejorar la salud p\u00fablica y reducir las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero. Por ejemplo, los centros de resiliencia adaptados a las comunidades afectadas por la temporada de incendios forestales pueden ofrecer recursos como purificadores de aire, mascarillas y generadores de energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Resistencia energ\u00e9tica<\/strong><\/p>\n

El aumento del riesgo de incendios debido al cambio clim\u00e1tico representa un riesgo de cortes de electricidad para los clientes de todo el estado. La MCE cre\u00f3 un fondo de resiliencia de $6 millones para ayudar a aliviar los cortes que amenazan la seguridad, la salud y el bienestar de nuestra comunidad, y que afectan de manera desproporcionada a las poblaciones vulnerables.
