Los contratos PPA determinan el tipo, el precio y el volumen de energ\u00eda que se suministra a un proveedor de electricidad a partir de un generador de energ\u00eda renovable. Las condiciones de los PPA var\u00edan en funci\u00f3n del momento en que se genera la energ\u00eda, del coste de construcci\u00f3n y mantenimiento de la instalaci\u00f3n y de la ubicaci\u00f3n del proyecto.<\/p>\n<p>MCE tambi\u00e9n compra energ\u00eda a promotores de energ\u00edas renovables en nuestra \u00e1rea de servicio. Estos recursos se construyen principalmente a trav\u00e9s de nuestro programa Feed-in Tariff (FIT), que ofrece un tipo \u00fanico de PPA. Las condiciones de estos PPA exigen que todos los proyectos utilicen mano de obra local 50%, paguen un salario digno e instalen y mantengan una cubierta vegetal respetuosa con los polinizadores en todo el emplazamiento del proyecto. El Programa FIT de la MCE ha ayudado a construir m\u00e1s de 15 megavatios de energ\u00eda renovable local.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Previsi\u00f3n de la carga<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La previsi\u00f3n de la carga ayuda al proveedor de electricidad a determinar cu\u00e1nta energ\u00eda necesita comprar para sus clientes. Una gran parte de la energ\u00eda se compra anualmente. Las previsiones de carga anuales tienen en cuenta consideraciones a m\u00e1s largo plazo, como las tendencias de crecimiento de la demanda de energ\u00eda y los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos y las reducciones de carga derivadas de la energ\u00eda solar instalada en tejados, la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica y el almacenamiento de energ\u00eda. Aproximadamente 90% de la energ\u00eda de MCE se compran anualmente para que MCE est\u00e9 cubierta frente a la volatilidad del mercado.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, no es pr\u00e1ctico suponer que las necesidades energ\u00e9ticas del a\u00f1o anterior coincidir\u00e1n exactamente con las tendencias futuras. Las 10% adicionales de energ\u00eda consisten en bloques horarios comprados que ayudan a reducir los costes para los clientes. Las directrices incluyen la Norma de Cartera Renovable (60% de nuestra cartera debe ser renovable para 2030, y 100% debe ser libre de carbono para 2045) y <a href=\"https:\/\/mcecleanenergy.org\/es\/news\/building-capacity-for-a-clean-energy-future\/\">requisitos de suficiencia de recursos<\/a> (ayuda a garantizar que haya capacidad extra disponible en la red si se necesita m\u00e1s energ\u00eda). En 2020, MCE ten\u00eda 99% libres de gases de efecto invernadero y 61% renovables. Sin embargo, ambos recursos son intermitentes porque s\u00f3lo funcionan durante determinadas horas: La energ\u00eda solar s\u00f3lo funciona durante el d\u00eda, principalmente de 12 a 16 horas, mientras que la e\u00f3lica aumenta en gran medida al atardecer. Combinando estos recursos con el almacenamiento de energ\u00eda y otras tecnolog\u00edas de energ\u00eda renovable de carga base como <a href=\"https:\/\/mcecleanenergy.org\/es\/news\/energy-101-geothermal-2\/\">geotermia<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/mcecleanenergy.org\/es\/news\/energy-101-bioenergy\/\">bioenerg\u00eda<\/a>podemos crear una combinaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica estable que aumente la fiabilidad de la red.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se contabiliza la energ\u00eda?<\/h2>\n<p>Cada vez que se genera 1 megavatio de energ\u00eda renovable, se genera tambi\u00e9n el correspondiente certificado de energ\u00eda renovable (CER). Los CER son el principal m\u00e9todo de contabilizaci\u00f3n de las transacciones de energ\u00eda renovable. He aqu\u00ed los tres tipos de REC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cubo agrupado 1 (PCC 1):<\/strong> Los REC PCC 1 se agrupan con electricidad procedente de instalaciones renovables con un primer punto de interconexi\u00f3n dentro de una autoridad de equilibrio de California (CBA) o de instalaciones que programan electricidad en una CBA sin energ\u00eda sustitutiva. En otras palabras, los REC de la PCC 1 se agrupan con la electricidad procedente de la instalaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable. Si la instalaci\u00f3n se encuentra fuera de una ACB, la electricidad debe programarse en una ACB y s\u00f3lo puede contabilizarse la fracci\u00f3n de la energ\u00eda generada por la instalaci\u00f3n renovable.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cubo agrupado 2 (PCC 2): <\/strong>Los REC PCC 2 se agrupan con electricidad procedente de instalaciones renovables, cuando la generaci\u00f3n renovable f\u00edsica se encuentra fuera de una ACB y la energ\u00eda sustitutiva se importa en una ACB dentro del mismo a\u00f1o natural. En otras palabras, los REC de la PCC 2 se agrupan con electricidad, pero la electricidad programada en la ACB no tiene por qu\u00e9 proceder de la instalaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable. Se utiliza habitualmente en veh\u00edculos de pila de combustible de hidr\u00f3geno como alternativa a los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos. Al igual que la gasolina, el hidr\u00f3geno puede almacenarse en forma l\u00edquida y bombearse a un veh\u00edculo utilizando los mismos procesos que en las gasolineras tradicionales. Tambi\u00e9n puede utilizarse en calefacci\u00f3n y almacenamiento de energ\u00eda. La MCE busca actualmente aplicaciones para el hidr\u00f3geno verde que ayuden a reducir las emisiones relacionadas con el transporte.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mcecleanenergy.org\/es\/news\/energy-expert-energy-storage-2\/\">Energy Storage<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El almacenamiento de energ\u00eda permite una mayor adopci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas de energ\u00edas renovables intermitentes, como la solar y la e\u00f3lica. A medida que aumenta la necesidad de una red energ\u00e9tica flexible y resistente en California, el papel del almacenamiento de energ\u00eda se ha incrementado significativamente. MCE ayuda a sus clientes a acceder al almacenamiento de energ\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de su <a href=\"https:\/\/mcecleanenergy.org\/es\/home-energystorage\/\">Programa Energy Storage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mcecleanenergy.org\/es\/news\/energy-expert-microgrids\/\">Microrredes<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Las microrredes son fuentes locales de generaci\u00f3n y almacenamiento de energ\u00eda que pueden desconectarse de la red el\u00e9ctrica general para suministrar energ\u00eda a una sola instalaci\u00f3n o a un grupo de edificios o viviendas. Cuando la red el\u00e9ctrica principal falla, las microrredes permiten a los edificios conectados mantener la energ\u00eda.
