Los VE tienen un menor impacto en el medio ambiente que los veh\u00edculos de gasolina y ayudan a los conductores a ahorrar dinero en gasolina y mantenimiento del veh\u00edculo.<\/p><h2>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los tipos de VE?<\/h2><p>Hay tres tipos principales de VE: veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos de bater\u00eda, veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos h\u00edbridos enchufables y veh\u00edculos h\u00edbridos de gas. EV se refiere m\u00e1s com\u00fanmente al primer tipo (veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos de bater\u00eda).<\/p><p><strong>Veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos de bater\u00eda<\/strong><\/p><p>Los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos de bater\u00eda (BEV) funcionan \u00fanicamente con la carga de la bater\u00eda y no emiten gases de escape. El puerto de carga de los BEV se parece al de los veh\u00edculos de gasolina tradicionales. Sin embargo, el coche est\u00e1 conectado a una fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n y se carga con electricidad de la red.<\/p><p><strong>Veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos h\u00edbridos enchufables<\/strong><\/p><p>Los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos h\u00edbridos enchufables (PHEV) funcionan con electricidad y utilizan gas como reserva. Estos veh\u00edculos pueden cargarse en una estaci\u00f3n de carga normal para veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos y tambi\u00e9n pueden repostar gasolina. Cuando se agota la bater\u00eda, los h\u00edbridos enchufables cambian autom\u00e1ticamente al motor de combusti\u00f3n de gas y producen emisiones por el tubo de escape.<\/p><p><strong>Veh\u00edculos h\u00edbridos de gas<\/strong><\/p><p>Los veh\u00edculos h\u00edbridos de gas (h\u00edbridos) tienen componentes el\u00e9ctricos para reducir el consumo de gasolina, pero funcionan \u00fanicamente con gas. Los coches h\u00edbridos tienen un motor de combusti\u00f3n interna y un motor el\u00e9ctrico. Las emisiones totales de los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos dependen del suministro el\u00e9ctrico local. Sin embargo, los VE son una opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s limpia que los veh\u00edculos de gas en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucsusa.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2020-05\/evs-cleaner-than-gasoline.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cada regi\u00f3n<\/a> de Estados Unidos, independientemente de la aver\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica, porque son extremadamente eficientes en el consumo de combustible. La electrificaci\u00f3n de estos veh\u00edculos comerciales es un paso fundamental para alcanzar los objetivos de emisiones cero. Adem\u00e1s de reducir las emisiones, los veh\u00edculos comerciales el\u00e9ctricos requieren menos mantenimiento y son m\u00e1s silenciosos que los veh\u00edculos comerciales convencionales. El aumento de los incentivos, los avances en la tecnolog\u00eda de las bater\u00edas y una infraestructura de recarga m\u00e1s desarrollada acelerar\u00e1n la electrificaci\u00f3n de los veh\u00edculos medianos y pesados.<\/p><h2>\u00bfC\u00f3mo apoya la MCE la adopci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos?<\/h2><p>MCE trabaja para aumentar la adopci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos a trav\u00e9s de incentivos para VE y recarga de VE. MCE ofrece un $3,500 <a href=\"https:\/\/mcecleanenergy.org\/es\/ev-drivers\/\">rebaja<\/a> para que los clientes que cumplan los requisitos compren o alquilen nuevos veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos.
