Las principales fuentes de energ\u00eda limpia, como la solar y la e\u00f3lica, son intermitentes, lo que significa que producen diferentes cantidades de energ\u00eda en distintos momentos del d\u00eda. Las soluciones de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda permiten almacenar energ\u00eda en las horas de m\u00e1xima producci\u00f3n y descargarla en las horas de m\u00e1xima demanda de electricidad. Con el fin de maximizar el uso de las energ\u00edas renovables en la red, la tecnolog\u00eda de veh\u00edculo a red (V2G) se est\u00e1 convirtiendo r\u00e1pidamente en una de las principales soluciones de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda.<\/p><p>V2G utiliza las bater\u00edas que ya existen en los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos (VE) para almacenar la energ\u00eda en nuestra red. Normalmente, pensamos en las bater\u00edas de los VE en t\u00e9rminos de carga unidireccional. Con la tecnolog\u00eda V2G, la electricidad fluye en dos direcciones: la red puede cargar el veh\u00edculo y el veh\u00edculo tambi\u00e9n puede devolver energ\u00eda a la red. La tecnolog\u00eda V2G nos permite optimizar los tiempos de carga para proporcionar el m\u00e1ximo beneficio a la red. Por ejemplo, los veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos pueden cargarse completamente en las horas centrales del d\u00eda, cuando los paneles solares producen m\u00e1s energ\u00eda y el coste de la electricidad es m\u00e1s bajo. La V2G puede hacer que la red sea m\u00e1s \u00e1gil a la hora de responder a las fluctuaciones del suministro de energ\u00eda renovable, apoyando el objetivo de California de 100% de energ\u00eda renovable.<br><br>La preparaci\u00f3n para el despliegue a gran escala de la tecnolog\u00eda V2G requiere la colaboraci\u00f3n entre las partes interesadas de la red, el sector del transporte y los conductores de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos. Las partes interesadas de la red deben ofrecer los incentivos adecuados para que los conductores compren veh\u00edculos con tecnolog\u00eda V2G y pongan sus bater\u00edas a disposici\u00f3n de la red cuando sea necesario. Utilizar un veh\u00edculo V2G como recurso de la red requiere la aprobaci\u00f3n de la empresa el\u00e9ctrica. Los reguladores deben desarrollar normas claras para garantizar que el V2G se utiliza de forma segura, al tiempo que se aseguran de que el proceso de aprobaci\u00f3n es r\u00e1pido y f\u00e1cil de entender. Para evitar invertir en un veh\u00edculo que no pueda utilizarse en esa instalaci\u00f3n, los operadores de la red deben considerar una forma de que los conductores \"pre-eval\u00faen\" su hogar o negocio como preparado para V2G. La tecnolog\u00eda V2G permite al VE exportar energ\u00eda de la bater\u00eda a la red. En California, 5 millones de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos circular\u00e1n en 2030.
