Aunque la electrificaci\u00f3n es una pieza importante para alcanzar los objetivos clim\u00e1ticos del Estado, plantea dudas sobre la capacidad de la red para gestionar este aumento de la demanda.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d33a5a2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d33a5a2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Electrificaci\u00f3n y energ\u00edas renovables<\/h4><p>La electrificaci\u00f3n es el proceso de sustituci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas basadas en combustibles f\u00f3siles, como el transporte, los electrodom\u00e9sticos y los procesos industriales propulsados por gas, por alternativas el\u00e9ctricas y renovables. Cuando funciona con fuentes de energ\u00eda renovables como la solar y la e\u00f3lica, la electrificaci\u00f3n puede reducir considerablemente las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero.<br \/>La energ\u00eda renovable produce menos emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero y contaminantes atmosf\u00e9ricos que los combustibles f\u00f3siles. Esta energ\u00eda mejora la salud p\u00fablica al reducir el riesgo de enfermedades respiratorias y cardiovasculares, especialmente en comunidades desfavorecidas. Invertir en programas de energ\u00edas renovables y tecnolog\u00edas limpias:<\/p><ul><li>Crea empleo.<\/li><li>Impulsa la econom\u00eda local.<\/li><li>Mejora la fiabilidad de la red al reducir la dependencia de los combustibles f\u00f3siles importados. <\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9c98b43 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9c98b43\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>MCE Solar One<\/h4><p>Tras incorporarse a la MCE en 2013, la comunidad de Richmond solicit\u00f3 la integraci\u00f3n de energ\u00edas renovables e instalaciones solares como parte de la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ci.richmond.ca.us\/3552\/Chevron-Richmond-Refinery-Modernization-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Proyecto de modernizaci\u00f3n de la refiner\u00eda Chevron Richmond<\/a>. El programa tambi\u00e9n instala tecnolog\u00edas de generaci\u00f3n o almacenamiento de electricidad a peque\u00f1a escala, conocidas como fuentes de energ\u00eda distribuida, para determinados clientes residenciales, municipales, comerciales e industriales de Richmond. El proyecto piloto pretende incluir hasta 100 viviendas -10 de las cuales ser\u00e1n completamente reconstruidas- que se vender\u00e1n a propietarios primerizos con bajos ingresos que sean clientes de MCE.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2fb38e3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2fb38e3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Un enfoque equilibrado<\/h4><p>La MCE promueve un enfoque equilibrado mediante la integraci\u00f3n de la electrificaci\u00f3n y las energ\u00edas renovables para reducir las emisiones, crear oportunidades de empleo y mejorar la fiabilidad energ\u00e9tica.
