Cette chaleur est utilis\u00e9e pour cr\u00e9er de la vapeur qui alimente une turbine, laquelle g\u00e9n\u00e8re de l'\u00e9nergie m\u00e9canique qui est convertie en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9. La combustion directe peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour le chauffage des locaux et de l'eau dans les b\u00e2timents.<\/p><p><strong>Digestion ana\u00e9robie<\/strong><\/p><p>La d\u00e9composition de la biomasse lib\u00e8re du m\u00e9thane et du dioxyde de carbone. Dans le processus de digestion ana\u00e9robie, la biomasse provenant du fumier, des d\u00e9chets alimentaires et d'autres mati\u00e8res organiques est plac\u00e9e dans un r\u00e9cipient herm\u00e9tique sans oxyg\u00e8ne.
