Rising Sun propose des programmes de formation pour les jeunes, les femmes et les personnes souhaitant r\u00e9int\u00e9grer le march\u00e9 du travail. Ces programmes leur permettent d'acqu\u00e9rir les comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour entamer des carri\u00e8res vertes fructueuses.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours de l'\u00e9t\u00e9 2021, Bry'Ana Wallace a obtenu son dipl\u00f4me \u00e0 Rising Sun. Elle a ensuite travaill\u00e9 pendant deux semaines dans le domaine de l'\u00e9nergie solaire chez <a href=\"https:\/\/gridalternatives.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alternatives \u00e0 la grille<\/a> avant d'obtenir un emploi \u00e0 temps plein dans l'installation de rev\u00eatements de sol en terrazzo. D\u00e9sormais int\u00e9ress\u00e9e par une carri\u00e8re dans la construction d'ascenseurs, Bry'Ana a pris le temps de partager avec nous son exp\u00e9rience avec Rising Sun et les liens pr\u00e9cieux qu'elle a nou\u00e9s dans le cadre du programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qu'est-ce qui vous a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 suivre le programme de formation Rising Sun ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir perdu ma grand-m\u00e8re il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, je me suis retrouv\u00e9e sans domicile fixe. Pendant longtemps, je n'ai pas su vers qui me tourner ni comment changer ma situation. L'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, ma cousine m'a parl\u00e9 de Rising Sun et de la fa\u00e7on dont les programmes avaient chang\u00e9 la vie des gens. J'avais un b\u00e9b\u00e9 en route et j'\u00e9tais tr\u00e8s enthousiaste \u00e0 l'id\u00e9e de participer \u00e0 un programme qui pourrait am\u00e9liorer mes conditions de vie et l'avenir de mon fils.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment votre vie a-t-elle chang\u00e9 depuis que vous avez rejoint Rising Sun ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rising Sun m'a mis en contact avec <a href=\"https:\/\/moms4housing.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moms4Housing<\/a>une organisation qui aide les m\u00e8res sans-abri \u00e0 retrouver un logement. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce lien, j'ai maintenant ma propre maison et mon fils et moi ne sommes plus sans-abri. Apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu mon dipl\u00f4me \u00e0 Rising Sun, j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler dans la pose de sols en terrazzo. Malheureusement, j'ai d\u00fb mettre ma carri\u00e8re en pause parce que la garde d'enfants n'\u00e9tait plus disponible en raison de la r\u00e9cente augmentation du nombre de cas de COVID. Maintenant que mon fils est de retour \u00e0 la cr\u00e8che, je travaille au lancement d'une nouvelle carri\u00e8re dans la construction d'ascenseurs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Que diriez-vous \u00e0 quelqu'un qui envisage de suivre ce programme ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ils devraient absolument se lancer ! Le programme m'a permis d'acqu\u00e9rir de nombreuses comp\u00e9tences, dans les domaines de la construction, des math\u00e9matiques et du professionnalisme. De nombreux instructeurs ont eux-m\u00eames exerc\u00e9 un m\u00e9tier et ont des relations dans l'industrie et des connaissances \u00e0 partager. Outre les comp\u00e9tences et l'exp\u00e9rience, Rising Sun propose \u00e9galement un accompagnement en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 mentale, une aide en cas de toxicomanie et un mentorat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Les ressources de Rising Sun m'ont aid\u00e9 lorsque j'avais l'impression de ne plus savoir o\u00f9 j'en \u00e9tais. J'ai nou\u00e9 d'excellents contacts gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la formation.
