Les principales sources d'\u00e9nergie propre, telles que le solaire et l'\u00e9olien, sont des sources d'\u00e9nergie intermittentes, ce qui signifie qu'elles produisent des quantit\u00e9s d'\u00e9nergie diff\u00e9rentes \u00e0 divers moments de la journ\u00e9e. Les solutions de stockage de l'\u00e9nergie permettent de stocker l'\u00e9nergie pendant les p\u00e9riodes de production maximale et de la d\u00e9charger pendant les p\u00e9riodes de demande maximale d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Alors que nous cherchons \u00e0 maximiser l'utilisation des \u00e9nergies renouvelables sur le r\u00e9seau, la technologie V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) s'impose rapidement comme une solution de stockage d'\u00e9nergie de premier plan.<\/p><p>Le V2G utilise les batteries qui existent d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques (VE) pour stocker l'\u00e9nergie sur notre r\u00e9seau. G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, nous pensons aux batteries des VE en termes de charge unidirectionnelle. Avec la technologie V2G, l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 circule dans les deux sens : le r\u00e9seau peut charger le v\u00e9hicule et le v\u00e9hicule peut \u00e9galement renvoyer de l'\u00e9nergie au r\u00e9seau. La technologie V2G nous permet d'optimiser les temps de charge afin de maximiser les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices pour le r\u00e9seau. Par exemple, les VE peuvent se recharger compl\u00e8tement en milieu de journ\u00e9e, lorsque les panneaux solaires produisent le plus d'\u00e9nergie et que le co\u00fbt de l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 est faible. L'\u00e9nergie exc\u00e9dentaire contenue dans la batterie peut \u00eatre r\u00e9inject\u00e9e dans le r\u00e9seau pendant les heures de pointe de la demande d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, le soir.<\/p><p>La technologie V2G peut contribuer \u00e0 accro\u00eetre l'utilisation des \u00e9nergies renouvelables, \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un r\u00e9seau plus efficace, \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts de recharge des VE, et elle se d\u00e9veloppera naturellement \u00e0 mesure que les VE prendront la route. De m\u00eame, lorsque le r\u00e9seau dispose d'un exc\u00e9dent d'\u00e9nergie renouvelable, les v\u00e9hicules V2G peuvent se recharger, aidant ainsi le r\u00e9seau \u00e0 absorber cette \u00e9nergie sans \u00eatre surcharg\u00e9. Le V2G peut permettre au r\u00e9seau de r\u00e9agir plus rapidement aux fluctuations de l'offre d'\u00e9nergie renouvelable, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 l'objectif californien de 100% d'\u00e9nergie renouvelable.<br><br>La pr\u00e9paration du d\u00e9ploiement \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle du V2G n\u00e9cessite une collaboration entre les parties prenantes du r\u00e9seau, le secteur des transports et les conducteurs de VE. Les parties prenantes du r\u00e9seau doivent fournir les bonnes incitations aux conducteurs pour qu'ils ach\u00e8tent des v\u00e9hicules compatibles V2G et qu'ils mettent leurs batteries \u00e0 disposition pour les utiliser comme ressource du r\u00e9seau en cas de besoin. L'utilisation d'un v\u00e9hicule V2G en tant que ressource du r\u00e9seau n\u00e9cessite l'approbation des services publics. Les r\u00e9gulateurs doivent \u00e9laborer des r\u00e8gles claires pour garantir que le V2G est utilis\u00e9 en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9, tout en veillant \u00e0 ce que le processus d'approbation soit rapide et facile \u00e0 comprendre. Pour \u00e9viter d'investir dans un v\u00e9hicule qui ne peut pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans cette installation, les op\u00e9rateurs de r\u00e9seau devraient envisager un moyen pour les conducteurs de \"pr\u00e9-\u00e9valuer\" leur maison ou leur entreprise comme \u00e9tant pr\u00eate pour le V2G. Les VE ne sont plus dissoci\u00e9s du r\u00e9seau, mais en font partie lorsqu'ils sont connect\u00e9s \u00e0 une station de recharge. La technologie V2G permet \u00e0 un v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique d'exporter de l'\u00e9nergie de sa batterie vers le r\u00e9seau. En Californie, 5 millions de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques seront en circulation en 2030. Les normes sont en place, mais les r\u00e9glementations sont encore en cours de rattrapage.
