Les VPP sont l'un des moyens utilis\u00e9s par les fournisseurs d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pour cr\u00e9er un avenir \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique plus r\u00e9silient et plus flexible. \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des dispositifs sur site qui permettent aux gens de mieux contr\u00f4ler leur consommation. Les m\u00e9nages et les entreprises contribuent collectivement \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau en \u00e9quilibrant la quantit\u00e9 d'\u00e9nergie fournie au r\u00e9seau et la quantit\u00e9 d'\u00e9nergie qu'ils demandent. Traditionnellement, la principale strat\u00e9gie pour \u00e9quilibrer l'offre et la demande d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 consiste \u00e0 augmenter l'offre d'\u00e9nergie. En cas d'urgence ou lorsque l'offre d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 sur le r\u00e9seau doit rapidement augmenter pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande, cela peut signifier la mise en marche d'une centrale \u00e9lectrique pour augmenter l'offre. Les centrales photovolta\u00efques, en revanche, permettent un contr\u00f4le plus \u00e9troit de la demande sur site car elles int\u00e8grent des technologies qui cr\u00e9ent la demande, telles que les thermostats intelligents et les chargeurs de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Avantage #1 : Moins de pannes<\/span><\/p><p>Des pannes peuvent se produire lorsque l'offre d'\u00e9nergie n'est pas suffisante pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande. Les VPP permettent de r\u00e9pondre aux fluctuations de la demande de mani\u00e8re plus efficace et plus rapide. L'utilisation d'un VPP \u00e0 des moments critiques pour r\u00e9duire la consommation d'\u00e9nergie et d\u00e9ployer une offre suppl\u00e9mentaire d'\u00e9nergie propre est une ressource inestimable pour aider l'\u00c9tat \u00e0 \u00e9viter les pannes d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">B\u00e9n\u00e9fice #2 : Plus d'\u00e9nergie propre<\/span><\/p><p>L'\u00e9nergie produite \u00e0 partir de sources renouvelables varie d'un jour \u00e0 l'autre. Avec la g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation de l'\u00e9nergie solaire sur les toits, la Californie a accumul\u00e9 une capacit\u00e9 de production d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de 1,5 milliard d'euros. <a href=\"https:\/\/mcecleanenergy.org\/fr\/news\/energy-expert-duck-curve-2\/\">exc\u00e8s d'\u00e9nergie solaire en milieu de journ\u00e9e<\/a>. Les VPP permettent aux r\u00e9partiteurs d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de d\u00e9placer la demande d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 vers les moments o\u00f9 l'\u00e9nergie renouvelable est la plus pr\u00e9sente sur le r\u00e9seau ou d'utiliser l'\u00e9nergie solaire lorsque le soleil ne brille pas en chargeant une batterie de stockage pour une utilisation ult\u00e9rieure.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">B\u00e9n\u00e9fice #3 : Un environnement et des communaut\u00e9s plus sains<\/span><\/p><p>Les VPP contribuent \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 pour l'\u00c9tat californien de se doter d'un syst\u00e8me d'information sur la sant\u00e9. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mcecleanenergy.org\/fr\/mce-news\/how-peaker-plants-impact-california-communities\/\">usines de traitement de l'eau<\/a><\/span><u>,<\/u> qui sont des centrales \u00e0 combustibles fossiles polluantes auxquelles on fait appel pendant les p\u00e9riodes de forte demande, \u00e9galement connues sous le nom de \"pics\". Les centrales de pointe \u00e9mettent une pollution atmosph\u00e9rique toxique et peuvent \u00eatre \u00e0 l'origine de probl\u00e8mes sanitaires et environnementaux importants pour les communaut\u00e9s environnantes. Tous les VPP ne sont pas cr\u00e9\u00e9s de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re - par exemple, certains incluent des g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs diesel de secours. Le projet pilote de MCE n'utilise que des sources d'\u00e9nergie propres pour r\u00e9pondre rapidement \u00e0 la demande pendant les p\u00e9riodes de forte consommation d'\u00e9nergie, r\u00e9duisant ainsi le besoin de ces centrales \u00e9lectriques polluantes et favorisant des communaut\u00e9s plus saines pour tout le monde.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Avantage #4 : R\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques<\/span><\/p><p>Les VPP peuvent d\u00e9placer la consommation d'\u00e9nergie vers les heures o\u00f9 les co\u00fbts de l'\u00e9nergie sont les plus bas et r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement les factures. Les m\u00e9nages et les entreprises qui participent \u00e0 un VPP ont une participation directe au march\u00e9 et peuvent \u00eatre r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s pour leur participation, comme c'est le cas avec le VPP de MCE.<\/p><p><strong>\u00c0 quoi ressemblera le VPP de MCE dans la pratique ?<\/strong><\/p><p>Le projet pilote VPP de MCE est actuellement en cours de d\u00e9veloppement et est disponible pour certains foyers et entreprises de Richmond. MCE et ses partenaires de projet s'engagent aupr\u00e8s des sites \u00e9ligibles \u00e0 proposer des technologies \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques propres.<\/p><p>Au cours de la premi\u00e8re phase de d\u00e9veloppement, 100 foyers b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieront gratuitement d'am\u00e9liorations technologiques en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9nergie propre. Parmi ces maisons, 90 auront la possibilit\u00e9 de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d'am\u00e9liorations \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques gratuites ou \u00e0 faible co\u00fbt pour leur participation au VPP. Les 10 maisons restantes, qui avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 abandonn\u00e9es, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment achet\u00e9es et enti\u00e8rement modernis\u00e9es pour devenir des maisons \u00e0 z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission nette de carbone. Il diminuera \u00e9galement la pression sur le r\u00e9seau, r\u00e9duisant ainsi le risque de coupures de courant et le besoin de centrales \u00e9lectriques polluantes.<\/p><p><strong>Puis-je rejoindre la centrale \u00e9lectrique virtuelle de MCE ?<\/strong><\/p><p>Actuellement, ce projet pilote se d\u00e9roule sur invitation uniquement.
