SUMMARY:Town of Moraga’s Peer and Wine Festival
DESCRIPTION:The annual Pear and Wine Festival is a community event celebrating the Town’s heritage and fall harvest. This\nfamily friendly event features kids’ activities\, community booths\, fall harvest treats\, and more. The event is\ntypically held at the end of September. \nEnjoy the afternoon with family and friends at Moraga Commons Park. Stroll through the park and learn about\nvarious community organizations and services and Moraga history\, and support local businesses. Don’t miss\nthe pear pies\, pear salad\, specialty pear beverages and wine from the Lamorinda AVA while listening to live\nmusic. Children will enjoy the inflatable jumpies\, various craft activities\, and a free petting zoo. \nLocal bands\, dance groups\, martial arts groups\, comedians\, magicians… We want to showcase the talent\nand creativity of Moraga! Submit an application to perform on the bandshell stage throughout the event!\nPerformance slots can be anywhere from 10 – 30 minutes\, sound equipment (PA system) will be provided.\nPlease email recdesk@moraga.ca.us if you are interested!
