Workshop #1: Index Plus and Hedges

Workshop #2: Resource Adequacy
\nDate: July 8, 2026
\nTime: 4:30 PM \u2013 5:30 PM<\/p>\n

The objectives of each workshop are to:
\nProvide a clear, shared understanding of key power supply concepts so all participants are equipped to engage; and
\nFacilitate discussion of portfolio tradeoffs the Board may consider in the future, including decisions around index-plus contracts, hedge contracts, and approaches to meeting Resource Adequacy requirements (e.g., clean versus gas-backed resources) and their cost, risk, and emissions implications.<\/p>\n

Both workshops will be held at MCE offices and will also be accessible via Zoom. Light dinner will be served for in-person attendees.<\/p>\n
