Noong taglagas ng 2016, nakipagsosyo ang MCE Rising Sun Energy Center<\/a>, isang lokal na nonprofit na organisasyon na tumutuon sa kahusayan sa enerhiya at tubig pati na rin sa paggawa at pag-unlad ng kabataan. Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang California Youth Energy Services (CYES), ang Rising Sun at MCE ay nag-alok ng walang bayad na mga pagtatasa at pag-install ng enerhiya at tubig para sa mga residente ng El Cerrito at San Pablo.
