Flex Market Programs

Compared to traditional energy efficiency programs, MCE’s Flex Market programs pay for the actual grid value of energy savings, resulting in more profits for your commercial and residential energy efficiency and load-shifting projects.

For energy efficiency providers – including contractors and aggregators – our Flex Market programs pay you for installing long-term energy efficiency measures, including:

Building envelope
HVAC
Lighting
Water heating
Chillers
Pumps and motors
Refrigeration

What You’ll Get

For commercial projects, receive a 25% upfront cash payment of the forecasted value of your energy efficiency projects. You’ll get money in your pocket as soon as you start installing projects, limit your risk, and preserve your cash flow. Most projects save at least 25% of their estimated value.

For residential projects, receive an upfront rebate payment based on measure type and quantity. The rebate must be passed through to the customer.

Extra payments for the additional metered savings on your commercial and residential projects beyond the initial guaranteed payment value.
