Our residential EV rate (EV2) can lower your energy costs if you charge your EV and use electricity during off-peak times of the day when rates are lower. EV2 rates apply to your household’s entire electricity usage, not only to your EV charging. If you own or manage a multifamily property with shared EV charging, please see our BEV1 rate.
To enroll in the EV2 rate and compare your rate options, log into your PG&E online account or call PG&E at (866) 743-0335. Once your account has moved to PG&E’s EV2 rate for delivery charges, your electricity generation charges will also automatically be billed under the corresponding MCE EV2 rate.
Businesses with separately metered EV charging stations are eligible for our EV charging rates, BEV1 and BEV2. Both rate plans combine a customizable monthly subscription charge with a Time-of-Use rate to help you save money.
Learn more about BEV rates at pge.com. Download MCE Commercial Rates (pdf) for the complete BEV1 and BEV2 rate schedules.
To enroll and learn more about BEV rate plans, visit PG&E’s website or call PG&E’s Business and Solar Customer Service Center at (877) 743-4112. Once your account has moved to PG&E’s BEV rate for delivery charges, your electricity generation charges will also automatically be billed under the corresponding MCE BEV rate.
