“The environment is my primary concern. I do everything I can to live a frugal life with the most respect for the resources around me and my community. MCE came to my life and gave me the opportunity to once and for all move to use sustainable energy at my business. Now, I can enjoy the reality that I am not contributing to climate change as much as I was just a month ago. Thank you MCE. ” ⎯Maria Gastelumendi, General Manager

Good Earth Natural Foods

Good Earth Natural Foods is an independent local grocer, with locations in Fairfax and Mill Valley, that advocates for a more sustainable food system. A 40,000-square-foot solar array at their Fairfax location supplies 35% of Good Earth’s electricity. The remainder of their electricity is sourced through MCE’s Deep Green 100% renewable energy service. By choosing renewable energy, Good Earth has reduced their greenhouse gas emissions by 500,000 pounds of CO2 each year which is equivalent to the emissions of 26 households.
