Climate commitments are easy to make. Turning them into meaningful action is much harder. The Future Is Shared will explore what corporate climate responsibility looks like in practice, and what it takes to move from ambitious goals to decisions, investments, and programs that deliver real impact.

Through Presidio’s Community Open House, students, alumni, prospective students, practitioners, and neighbors will join a conversation led by Jim Giles, Vice President and Editor-at-Large at Trellis Group. Jim’s work examines why some companies develop genuinely impactful climate programs while others struggle to translate commitments into action. Together, we’ll consider how responsibility for climate action is shared across companies and the larger systems they influence, how we evaluate whether climate strategies are working, and what more meaningful corporate action might require.
