Waiver and Photo/Video Release

I hereby irrevocably grant and authorize Marin Clean Energy “MCE” (a) the right to use, reproduce, and publish my image, likeness, name and/or voice in any media, including but not limited to photographs, video clips, and audio clips, from the photo/video shoot described, worldwide and in perpetuity; and (b) the right to license and copyright said video clips or photographs in the name of the MCE or in any other name that MCE may select. I agree that the video or audio clips, photographs, reproductions, and negatives thereof shall constitute the sole property of MCE and that MCE has the full right to dispose of any or all of them in any manner whatsoever.

I understand and agree that said photographs and/or video and audio clips may be used in any media, such as print, broadcast, and electronic/online materials, for various purposes, including without limitation, promotional and advertising uses, public affairs releases, educational or recruitment materials, or other related endeavors. This material may also appear on the MCE website(s) or webpage(s) or other third-party websites or social media outlets.  I agree that the material may be combined with other images, text, graphics, film, audio, audio-visual works; and may be cropped, altered, or modified.  I waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished product or products, or the advertising copy or other published matter that may be used in connection therewith, or the use to which it may be applied.

I am informed and acknowledge that I will not receive any compensation for the use, reproduction, license, or publication of my likeness. I also release MCE from any claims that may arise regarding the use of my likeness, including but not limited to any claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, and infringement of moral rights, rights of publicity, trademark, and copyright.

I have read this authorization and release. I certify that I am not a minor and I am free and able to give such consent. If the person named is a minor or lacks capacity in the jurisdiction of residence, the parent and/or legal guardian warrants and represents that it is the legal guardian of said person and has the full legal capacity to consent to the photo/video shoot and to execute this Photo/Video Release Form. If the undersigned is signing this form as an agent or employee of a company or organization, the undersigned warrants that he/she has full authorization to do so. This release shall be binding upon the undersigned and his/her/its heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns.
