This move supports the City’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) and reinforces its leadership in local climate and sustainability initiatives.
Leading the Charge Toward Clean Energy
“Martinez was one of the first cities in Contra Costa County to adopt a Climate Action Plan (CAP). One of the primary goals of our CAP is to shift to renewable energy sources, so opting up the city’s electricity accounts to MCE’s Deep Green service was an easy decision. By running electricity on 100% renewable energy sources such as wind and solar, we’re reducing our emissions, conserving resources, and demonstrating our commitment to sustainable policies and our CAP goals.”
