Drivers can earn up to $10 per month in additional cash back by charging during “low-carbon events” when the cleanest energy is available. Low-carbon events are designed to shift EV charging toward daytime hours when renewable energy is abundant on the grid. MCE Sync users receive a push notification on their smartphones to authorize charging during a low-carbon window.
